What is Balance?
Mental health involves striking a balance in all elements of your life, including your social, physical, spiritual, economic, and mental health. Finding a balance is a process of trial and error. You may have to re-establish your balance if you tip the balance too much in one direction. Your personal balance will be unique, and maintaining that balance will be your challenge.

- Listen to feedback and criticism

- Set Realistic Goals
Set goals for yourself that you know you can achieve. With the appropriate goals, you can expect yourself to reach certain places you didn't know you can reach.
Career and Skills
-Career Summary
For employers to catch on to who you are professional, you should include a career summary. This is a short description describing what you do and what makes you special. A career summary should always be one of the first things you add to your personal portfolio.
- Skills and Abilities
This is how you get to prove your worth to the employers. You list all the things you do well so they can keep in mind what makes you special.
Describe a good mentor. If you could say anything to your younger self, what would you say?
A good mentor is someone who can support you through your highs and lows when you need them the most. A good mentor is often reliable when expressing feelings and provides you with the best support you can ask for. If I could say anything to my younger self, it would be to make wise decisions and to be sympathetic. Back then, I would often make decisions which I would soon regret. Another thing I would do if I were to mentor my younger self, would be to care for others and try to understand where they're coming from. In the past, I could have helped many of my loved ones if I had listened to them and understood what they were trying to say. These are only some of the things I'd say to myself as a mentor.
Balance/Career Advice

Choose your friends wisely, choose friends that will understand you when times you're feeling under the weather or even when you're feeling like you can do anything. Friends who understand you will comfort you and give you support in all times of your life. If you're scared to lose them or you fee that you're drifting away, keep in touch, build a friendship tree. Praying
Prayer is a way we can communicate to God about our problems, wishes, concerns, etc. It's also a way to worship God. Praying is a daily practice in many of our lives. We include praying in our day during times like before meals, after meals, mass, after receiving something, when we sleep, when we wake up or even whenever we feel like praying. Praying relieves stress and helps us stay connected to God.

Priorities
Figure out your priorities. Find things that you know should be put first. It can be big things like improving on your mental health or even small things like planning your day.
Involvement
Being involved in many things cause us to feel satisfaction, purpose and enjoyment. No matter how small or big your efforts are, remember that involving yourself will make a big difference.
Stress
Stress is a normal part of everyday life. Don't worry if you're feeling stressed because everyones gone through it and are continually feeling it. A way to relieve stress is taking a 10 minute break. Use this time to call whoever you want for support and just do things that make you happy.
Let go of the need to be perfect
Not everyone is perfect, and we all know that. You can reduce stress yourself by letting these mistakes change your way of thinking. When looking for a career, you will never see a "perfect" example of a good employee. When you go for perfection, it'll slow down your productivity and effectiveness as you need to stop yourself just to adjust those tiny problems. Letting go of that perfection will cause you to be satisfied with what you've accomplished and will overall keep you positive.

Learn to Control and Deal with your Emotions
We all seek ways to control and deal with our emotions. When we control our emotions, we refrain from doing unnecessary actions.
Describe a time you’ve had to do the right thing. What choices did you make? Was it difficult to make good choices?
An example of a time I had to do the right thing was back in 4th grade. At the time, I was in a different school, not in Fort McMurray. I had seen my friends picking on this one girl in my class who had a disability. I was good friends with them and we would always be doing the same thing. I had seen them picking on the girl on multiple occasions but there was just one time when they took it too far. They started hurting her and I was stuck there thinking about what to do. Since they were good friends with me, I didn't want to ruin our friendships because I took the girl's side. I struggled a lot at the time but couldn't resist the urge to help her. I ran up to them and told them to stop. I still remember the look they gave me and it was hard for me to keep eye contact. I guess they were really disappointed in me as I always sided with them so they just left me standing there with the girl they bullied. I know that it would've been hard for me to make friends like them again but I wanted to help her out. It took time but eventually, they matured and came to their senses and apologized to me and the girl for what they did. We still talk to this day and even now, I would do the same as I did that day. This taught me that sometimes I have to sacrifice things important to me in order to make the right choice.
