A kid from a private lesson goes and swims in the leisure pool after his lessons finish. You ask him to put a lifejacket on and he says he was in swim lessons. Does he still need to put on a lifejacket?
YES!
Do we allow blow up floaties?
NO. Not unless coast guard approved.
A parent goes to sit in the hot tub while his 4 year old swims in the leisure pool with a lifejacket on. What do you do?

NO.
Yes, they are allowed to swim. No, the parent can be on deck but they need to be actively supervising.
1. The 7 year-old is exempt by his deep end bracelet and the other two kids under the age of 5 are in ratio with the parent. It does not matter which one of the children is in the lifejacket.
Does a child 5 and under need a parent in the water with them even if they have passed their deep end test?
No.
Can swimmers stop or grab the wall in the middle of the sequences?
No. They must be completed continuously.
How many times can a child take the deep end test in one day?
Once, but they can take it as many days as they want.
A family of 6 kids comes in with 1 parent. The ages of the kids are 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, and 16. The 12 and 16 year-olds meet the height requirement, but the rest of the kids do not and have also not passed their deep end test. How many kids in the group need a lifejacket?
2 kids need a lifejacket. It can be any of the kids ages 3-9 in the lifejacket. The 12 year-old is exempt by height and the 16 year-old is exempt by age.
Can a child who has NOT passed their deep end test go in the deep end with an adult in the pool?
NO.
