(BM) Lily has been running to her parents a lot throughout the class. Whether it is telling them she scored a goal or complaining about losing the ball, she is always with them. Her parents have been encouraging it even though you have always called her back to the field. (Jackrabbits class)
To the child: Reiterate that the child can talk to their parents during water break or after the class is over if it isn't urgent. Guide them back and keep their engagement.
To the parents: Discuss with the parents about minimizing the time their child goes to talk to them during the class. Come up with a plan so the parents are working with you to ensure the child is staying engaged, and not entertaining the child talking to them.
