This is an entry at the end of each shift providing each youth's name with a color-coded behavior, highlighting the entire entry and the reason for that color distinction.
What is a shift summary?
This team member must call each dorm every 30 minutes by phone for a status check.
Who is the night shift TA/Rover?
Each name and entry will be highlighted completely in one of three colors to reflect the level of supervision needed.
What is Green, Yellow and red?
Time should be written in a form that prevents errors and gives clarity to what part of the day it is.
What is 24 hour/military time?
These two things should be noted in log each time a team member or youth enter the dorm or when a team member or youth leave the dorm or grounds, for any reason.

Night shift TA/Rover must conduct physical dorm checks randomly, and make a dorm log entry called "Dorm Check" at this frequency throughout the night.

Because the logbook provides professional and legal documentation a judge may request its contents at this.

Besides the youth's name and location, this too needs to be included in the every 10 minute entry.
What is a description of the overall tone or mood of the dorm?
The END OF SHIFT YOUTH VERIFICATION must be signed by both the PM/Swing team members and the overnight team members after this is conducted.
What is a walk-through of the dorm to ensure that all youth are present and in bed?
This log entry made by both the night TSW and the night TA/Rover which includes : 1) Dorm name and head count 2) Names of children up after 10:00 P.M. and the reason why, 3) General tone of the dorm 4) Requests or assistance needed is known as this.
What is a "status Check"?
