An intense, persistent fear of a particular object or situation, such as animals, heights, needles, or flying.
Specific Phobia
Trauma-related symptoms—including intrusion, avoidance, dissociation, and increased arousal—that occur from 3 days to 1 month after a traumatic event.
Acute Stress Disorder
A disorder characterized by a sudden onset of psychotic symptoms lasting at least one day but less than one month, followed by a return to previous functioning.
