What is an After Hours startup?
Onsite Startup performed outside of normal
business hours by a Lutron Service Representative.
What is onsite scene and level tuning?
• Adjustments to light level, fade time, and delay in lighting scenes.
• Facility representative and/or lighting designer will sign off on all work at the completion of the visit.
What information is provided in the documentation?
details about the startup procedures being performed
Also includes processes to follow, details on tests performed, and an area that documents any test results.
What is a system optimization visit?
A visit by a Lutron Service Representative to evaluate system usage and discuss opportunities to make efficiency improvements that will fit with the current use of the facility.
Who conducts start up visits?
A Lutron Field Service Engineer or a Lutron Services Company representative for this system after Lutron equipment is installed.
Aside from a difference in hours are there any key differences in service received?
No. Onsite Startup procedures will apply.
How far in advance do I need to schedule a visit?
• Lutron requires 10 business days notice to schedule an onsite visit
Does it have to be Lutron specific documentation?
No but all documents must be provide to Lutron for review and approval prior to startup.
What does this entail during the visit?
A meeting with the Facility manager to discuss desired improvements along with:
Sensor calibration.
Timeclock programming.
Light level analysis
What are the hours of operation for onsite start up?
Any site visits included in the service will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm on a Monday through Friday that is not a Lutron Holiday.

• Lutron requires 10 business days notice to schedule an onsite visit.
• Facility representative should secure access to the required areas prior to the visit date.
When should this visit be performed?
After the building is in operation.
