The french had a bad opinion on this and thought it was unfair to restrict the amount of french schools . This had created a language barrier with the English because this law had also encouraged English to be the only language allowed to be spoken. With their knowledge of french this has created a barrier with them not being able to speak french. They created a solution to this by creating a french troop in the CEF so that they could get more french people to participate.
