Can students eat food, chew gum, or listen to music in the classroom?
What is "no food or gum will be allowed in the classroom and students may not bring airpods/earbuds to listen to music"
What type of work are students expected to submit?
What is "their own work, not copied from another student or the internet, the school has very strict plagiarism rules"
What should a student do if they feel like they are being bullied (or see anyone else being bullied)?
What is "come tell Mrs. Oswald immediately, bullying of any kind is completely unacceptable"
What is one of the most important qualities that Mrs. Oswald wants students to have during class?

What is "do not interrupt one another, speak kindly and respectfully to each other, and give constructive feedback when needed"
What time are students expected to arrive at class each day?
What is "on time, in your seat before the bell rings"
What are materials that students should not be accessing in the classroom?
What is "the teacher's desk, any locked cabinets, supplies that are stored away, lab equipment, other students' materials"
Can students be on their phones during class?
What is "no, phones are not allowed to be brought or used in the classroom" (leave it in your locker!)
How many days after an assignment is missing does it become a 0?
What is "4 days (10% will be deducted each before then)"
What should a student do if they know they will be absent?
What is "be proactive and email Mrs. Oswald before an absence to get makeup work, always check google classroom for assignments"
What are students expected do at the beginning of class?
What is "come in quietly, take your seat, and get out your materials for the day"
What are you as a student responsible for in each class?
What is "turning in your work, bringing your computer charged, having your materials, being on time, showing up to class"
How many students can go to the bathroom at a time and what do they need to take with them?
What is "only 1 student at a time and they must have a bathroom pass"
How many tests/quizzes are expected in each quarter of school?
What is "3-5 tests per quarter, 3-6 quizzes per quarter (1 test and 1-2 quizzes per chapter)"
What should a student do if they feel like they need to cheat on an assignment?
What is "come ask Mrs. Oswald for help instead (I would rather you ask for extra help then feel like you have to cheat)"

What should students do if they finish work early and there is still class time left?
What is "work on an assignment from another class, begin reviewing material for exam, check to make sure you do not have missing work, start HW early" -- Free time is not allowed during class
What should you do if you do not understand a lesson that was taught during class?
What is "re-read the textbook material, access online videos explaining the concept, ask a friend in the class for help"
What should a student do if they notice they are not doing well in the class?
What is "come see Mrs. Oswald for extra help or potential tutoring BEFORE the end of the quarter"
