What is the procedure for coming into the room and leaving the room?
Line up quietly.
Walk along the book shelves.
Walk out quietly.
What are some of our classroom expectations?
These are things that are likely to happen. It is likely that we treat each other the way you want to be treated. Act with kindness/use kind words, listen to the teacher/adult, follow instructions, include everyone, check in with each other, keep hands to yourself, and self-monitor your actions.
What do we do when we hear a call and response?
Put down materials and show Mrs. Snaidauf we are listening.
When can we play the target practice game?
Friday Fun is usually a lesson and then games including the target practice. You must keep score to play.
What do we do at the end of class?
Clean up our table and floor, put books and spirals away, and then line up quietly.
When do you use a level 0 voice?
In the hallway, when lining up for lunch, when the teacher is talking, when a classmate is sharing, or when the teacher asks us to.
What do we do if we are feeling a lot of emotion?
It's ok to take a break.
Remember, this is if you're feeling too sad, angry, silly, or anything else!
What is the job of the messenger?
To take the blue folder to the office in the morning, pass out papers, go to any classrooms/places to pick something up for Mrs. Snaidauf.
What are the partner talk expectations?
Look at your partner

Be ready to speak when it’s your turn
Speak so that only your partner can hear you. Speak on-task conversations
Turn and face the front when you and your partner are finished sharing.
Wait quietly.
What are the Smart Board Expectations?
Take care of the markers. Stick to the tasks. Take turns with the markers. Listen to what others are saying.
What are the expectations for eating snack?
You can have a snack or breakfast. Eat at your desk and over your desk. Clean up after yourself.
When is a good time to use the bathroom or get water?
During independent work time.
NOT during when Mrs. Snaidauf is teaching or giving directions directly to the class.
How do we take notes?
Write down definitions from the board.
Add pictures and your own ideas.
Review the information.
How do we work together in partners?
Communicate effectively and clearly, use kind words and tone, listen to each other, ask questions, and stay on task.

Walking quietly in the hallway, following directions quickly the first time, and working together as a team.

What are the "start of class" expectations?
Work on beginning problems. Quietly work on homework.
How can you earn a Blue ticket for the prize box?
By constantly following expectations quickly the first time, by going beyond expectations by helping out more, or by helping/showing kindness to another student.
