Font
A combination of various attributes that dictate how text characters appear. A specific font is defined by character spacing, size, pitch, serifs, etc.
Copy
A command that duplicates selected data and stores it in the clipboard. This data can then be placed in another location or document.
First Line Indent
A special indentation setting that indents only the first line of a paragraph.
Online Pictures
Pictures, images, and other graphical elements that can be inserted into documents from the Internet.

Cut selected text and place on the clipboard
Font Case
The case in which letters are displayed. The two types of font cases are uppercase and lowercase. ABC are uppercase letters and abc are lowercase letters.
Cursor
An indicator that identifies where the next character that is typed will be displayed and the current screen location of the mouse pointer
Hanging Indent
A special indentation setting that indents all lines except the first line of a paragraph. Hanging indents are typically applied to the entries in a bibliographical list.
SmartArt
A collection of diagrams and images that can be added to Word documents or PowerPoint slides in order to enhance the visual appeal of the information being presented.

Font Style
The particular style(s) applied to a font. For example, the Arial font can have Bold, Regular, Italic, or Bold Italic styles applied to it.

The distance between the left margin of a page and where a paragraph or other element begins.

Pre-built transformations that can make an image look like a sketch, a painting, a photocopy, etc.

Paste
A command that moves copied material from the clipboard to a user-determined location in a document. Copied content can be pasted with or without text formatting.
Line Spacing
The amount of vertical space between lines of text within the same paragraph in a document.
Hyperlink
A designated word or image within an electronic document that links to another location in the document or to another electronic document.

A command that removes the last update or change made to a document, spreadsheet, presentation, or database.
