The mushrikeen using Allah's will/destiny as an excuse for worshiping other than Him..
احتجاج المشركين بالقدر على عبادة الأصنام
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَـٰهُم ۗ مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ (الزخرف ٢٠)
And they argue, “Had the Most Compassionate willed, we would have never worshipped them.” They have no knowledge ˹in support˺ of this ˹claim˺. They do nothing but lie -- AzZukhruf 20
Ayat in AzZukhruf concluding with the word:
مبين
Ayat 15, 18, 29, 40, 62
نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَـٰهَا
In AlFalaq:
غاسق
A very dark night
The bounties of Allah on the children of Israel..
منن الله على بني إسرائيل
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ (الدخان ٣٠) - ٣٣
And We certainly delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment -- AdDukhan 30 (- 33)
Firaun's speech to push his people away from following Musa (AS)
خطبة فرعون في قومه لصدهم عن اتباع موسى عليه السلام
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى قَوْمِهِۦ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِى مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَـٰذِهِ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِىٓ ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ (الزخرف ٥١)
And Pharaoh called out to his people, boasting, “O my people! Am I not sovereign over Egypt as well as ˹all˺ these streams flowing at my feet? Can you not see? -- AzZukhruf 51
Ayat in AzZukhruf concluding with the words:
صراط مستقيم
Ayat 43, 61, 64
In AzZukhruf:
يَـٰلَيْتَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرِينُ
When a disbeliever comes to Allah on the Day of Judgement he will say to his associate: I wish you were as distant from me as the east is from the west! What an evil associate ˹you were˺!
In AlFajr:
ذي حجر
having mind and sense
The mushrikeen denying resurrection and the Quran refuting that claim..
إنكار المشركين للبعث والرد عليهم
إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ ( الدخان ٣٤) - ٣٩
Indeed, these ˹Meccans˺ say, -- AdDukhan 34 (- 39)
The reaction of the mushrikeen when Issa (AS) was given as an example (of Allah's ability)..
رد فعل المشركين عند ضرب المثل بعيسى عليه السلام
۞ وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ (الزخرف ٥٧)
When the son of Mary was cited as an example ˹in argument˺, your people ˹O Prophet˺ broke into ˹joyful˺ applause. -- AzZukhruf 57
Ayat in AshShura with the different tenses of the verb meaning "to respond":
ويستجيب
والذين استجابوا
استجيبوا
Ayat 26, 38, 47
In AzZukhruf:
وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ
The children of Israel to Musa (AS): “O ˹mighty˺ magician! Pray to your Lord on our behalf, by virtue of the covenant He made with you. We will certainly accept guidance.”
In Alkawthar:
الأبتر
The one whose is cut off (from any goodness)
A surah declaring tawheed and letting go of any shirk..
سورة تعلن توحيد العبادة والبراءة من الشرك
الكافرون
All religions are decreed from Allah to his prophets (oneness of religions)..
وحدة الأديان كما شرعها الله لأنبيائه
۞ شَرَعَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلدِّينِ مَا وَصَّىٰ بِهِۦ نُوحًۭا وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا وَصَّيْنَا بِهِۦٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰٓ ۖ أَنْ أَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ كَبُرَ عَلَى ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مَا تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ۚ ٱللَّهُ يَجْتَبِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَيْهِ مَن يُنِيبُ (الشورى ١٣)
He has ordained for you ˹believers˺ the Way which He decreed for Noah, and what We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ and what We decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus,1 ˹commanding:˺ “Uphold the faith, and make no divisions in it.” What you call the polytheists to is unbearable for them. Allah chooses for Himself whoever He wills, and guides to Himself whoever turns ˹to Him˺. -- AshShura 13
Ayat in AshShura with the words:
ولولا كلمة
Ayat 14, 21
In AsShura:
إِنَّ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ
On the Day of Judgement when the misguided are exposed to the fire, the believers will say, “The ˹true˺ losers are those who have lost themselves and their families on Judgment Day.”
In AlMassad:
في جيدها
in her neck (the wife of Abu-lahab)
A surah describing the signs and traits of those who deny the religion..
سورة توضع علامات المكذبين بالدين
الماعون
Encouraging believers not to chase Dunya and be more hopeful in Al-Akhirah, and some traits of the believers..
التزهيد في الدنيا والترغيب في الآخرة، وصفات المؤمنين
فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَىْءٍۢ فَمَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ (الشورى ٣٦)
Whatever ˹pleasure˺ you have been given is ˹no more than a fleeting˺ enjoyment of this worldly life. But what is with Allah is far better and more lasting for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord; -- AshShura 36
Ayat in AdDukhan with the following descriptions of a messenger:
مبين
كريم
أمين
Ayat 13, 17, 18
In AdDukhan:
إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌۭ
Musa (AS) to the people of Firaun
In AlA'la:
فجعله غثاء أحوى
And then makes it dark stubble (withered chaff)
A surah showing the truth about winning and losing in this life..
