But they learn, in the episode Banana Spit, that they have to be together for their powers to work better. However, the trio accept that wanting space is okay, which allows them that even if they are away from each other they still exhibit the concept of ice cream which allows them to use their superpowers freely

They were initially supposed to represent the concept of ice cream until the universe chose to create the Neo Trio (Choco, Strawb, and Vani).
