What is maintain airway (ABCs)?
Prevent breathing difficulties and provide adequate perfusion
What is mechanical ventilation?
Medication to prevent blood clots
What is enoxaprin (Lovenox)?
Temporary loss of spinal reflexes below the spinal cord injury
What is spinal shock?
Way to immobilize the spine and prevent further damage?
What is a cervical collar?
IV that is inserted into the superior vena cava to administer meds/fluids quickly
What is a central line?
Reduces production of gastric secretions
What is pantoprazole?
Pounding headache, flushed face, bradycardia, hypertension, goose bumbs and cold clammy skin below injury
What is autonomic dysreflexia?
Location of T5-T6 injury
