TRUE. The language on Nivo at checkout states "$500 per person deposit due at time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, if uninsured. Deposit payment is applied towards your overall balance due." 

For clarification, if they have insurance, they can go through their insurance provider to get their $500 back if they need to cancel.

Someone calls in and wants to make a payment on their booking that's in Nivo. What steps do you need to take to put this payment through Nivo (not stripe)?

Ask for the customer's name and type it into Nivo. If there is a booking associated with their name, it will pop up. Click into the booking, go to Actions on the top-right hand side of the page, click "request payment", copy the link and put it into your web browser, and you can take CC or ACH payment from there.

How do you add the cost of insurance to someone's booking in Nivo?

Go to the trip they are going on > Pricing > Add-Ons > Create Add-On > and then create the add-on and label it the "GUEST NAME Insurance". 

BONUS - what setting needs to be toggled on before saving the add-on?

Where do you go to update the setting that allows for someone to book without payment? We want to make this unavailable. 

This can be corrected by going to your Nivo Trip > Pricing > Payment Settings > and making sure the "complete without payment" section is turned off
