What is a carrot?
This protein comes from the ocean and is often used in Janet's favorite thing to eat for dinner.
What is fish?
This vitamin is helpful to fight the common cold.
What is vitamin C?
This treat is frozen and can be churned or un-churned, hard, or soft-serve.
What is ice cream?
I come in bunches and grow on a vine. I sort of look like a large marble and am red or green or sometimes purple. The candy that is supposed to taste like my flavor doesn't actually taste like me, but I don't let it bother me. ;]
What is a grape?
I am leafy and dark green. Popeye likes to eat me.
What is spinach?
This protein is used on toast or stuffed in pretzels or made in a sandwich with jelly. We have to be very careful who we eat it around though because some people are very very allergic to it.
What is peanut butter?
This vitamin is given to us just by being outside during the day.
What is vitamin D?
This snack is healthy and was one of our answers in the vegetable category. They are orange, yellow or sometimes purple!

I am yellow and you have to take my skin off before you eat me. I have lots of potassium and am good to eat after or before a good long run.
What is a banana?
This vegetable is green on the outside and light yellow on the inside. There are many ways to eat it. Some people grill it in the summer. Some people make a sweet bread with it. Janet likes to use a spiralizer and eat it like noodles with sauce.
What is a zucchini?
This source of healthy fat grows on trees and is the staple ingredient of guacamole.
What is an avocado?
This mineral is found in almonds, broccoli, cheese and milk. It is important for strong bones.
What is calcium?
This treat comes in a little bag usually. It has the same two letters of the alphabet as its title. Sometimes there are peanuts versions or almond versions or plain versions. They are red, yellow, green, brown and blue.
I am reddish-pink and have tiny seeds on the outside. People like to make jam with me and I grow close to the ground.
What is a strawberry?
This vegetable grows on a stalk and has tiny pieces that you can either bite right off the cob or cut off. It can also be popped on the stove or in the microwave for a fun treat!
What is corn?
This source of protein is a little bit surprising because we often associate protein with being savory or salty and this great protein source is usually on the sweet and mild side and often has fruit in it. A specific type of this protein has more protein than others of its kind.
What is Greek yogurt?
We need this mineral to help flow oxygen from our lungs to the rest of our body. Good sources are lean red meat, chicken, lentils and beans. Oddly enough there is something with the same name that we don't eat, but it is very strong and fences are made from it.
What is iron?
This snack is one of Janet's favorites! They are salty and tangy and triangle shaped. The have a descriptive word in the title that is also the same word for a farm that has livestock roaming on it.
What are Cool Ranch Dorritos?
I have a cool shape - the same shape as sparkly things in the night sky - and a certain type of ocean creature. I am not super common, but you can find me at fancier markets in the produce section. I am usually yellow.
What is a starfruit?
This vegetable also has a fruit in the name. It is a beautiful green on the outside and then magenta pink-ish and white on the inside. It is round and people slice them thin and put them as garnishes or in salad.
What is a watermelon radish?
This good source of protein is a grain too! It is a super food and packs 8 grams of protein per cup cooked. It is sometimes tan and sometimes red. It is delicious to add vegetables and sauces too. It is a great replacement for rice or pasta.
What is quinoa?
This mineral is the most important for us. We need to fill our bodies with at leas 8 cups of it a day - especially when we exercise! We also use it to stay clean and to cook with etc.
What is water?
This treat is often given out around Valentine's Day. It is a small, interesting shape and the classic/original version has a silver wrapper with a little tag sticking out of the top of it.
