Under CCL Personal Rights- A youth has the right to: make contact with social workers, attorneys, probation officers, CASAs, foster youth advocates and supporters, or anyone else involved with the youth case.
What documents (forms) do ASW look for when completing their monthly home inspections?
-a Current Certificate of Approval
-Emergency Disaster Plan posted

In what time frame must you notify your agency social worker about a special incident?

What documents need to be completed when a child is taking over the counter medication/prescribed medication/or prescribed psychotropic medication?
Over the counter- Monthly medication log needs to be filled out and checked off for every dosage given
Prescribed medication- Centrally stored medication log and Monthly medication log
Prescribed psychotropic medication- Centrally stored medication log and Monthly medication log (separate from other medications)
What kind of injury requires a report to your agency worker?
All injuries should be reported to your agency social worker.
What days, times, and frequency can a county worker come out to the home.
What days, times, and frequency can an agency social worker come out to the home.
County social worker can come to your home at any time. Which includes announced and unannounced. At minimum they need to come to your home once a month.
ASW can come to your home at any time. Which includes announced and unannounced. Standard is once a week to visit the child. Visit are preferred in the home. ASW will complete a home inspection and an unannounced home visit once a month.

Report any missed dose of psychotropic medication to your Agency social worker and to the prescribing psychiatrist.
