I’m the person you pay when you buy something and answer the phone if people call with questions. I went to high school, but didn’t need to go to college to do this job.
What is a Cashier?
I'm like a doctor for computers! When one of the systems or programs breaks, it’s my job to get it fixed and to make it work.
What is a Programmer?
I am trained as a Medical Assistant, but I help teach patients about their healthcare, and to coach them about different ways they can make healthy choices.
What is a MA Health Coach?
I work directly with your doctor. I’m the one who measured your height, weight, and blood pressure when you came in for your last checkup. I gave you your flu shot, did your vision test, and might have helped the doctor do a special procedure or exam if you needed one.

I add “jewelry” to your teeth to help make them straight.
What is an Orthodontist?
It's important for me to count and measure things very carefully so you get exactly the right kind and the right amount of medication. I only need a high school diploma for this job.
What is a Pharmacy Technician?
I design and create PCHC’s advertisements, logos, and other documents, pictures, or pages that we publish. I work in a regular office, not a doctor’s office.
What is a Graphic Designer?
I teach people about food, exercise, and healthy living, and I also do research to learn more about the food we eat and the ways our diet affects our bodies.
What is a Dietician?
I am the person who answers the phone when people call the office with questions about their appointments or their care.
What is a Call Center Representative?
I use a drill to make sure you can eat all your favorite foods for a long time. I went to school for 8 years to get my degree.
What is a Dentist?
I help make sure your prescriptions are refilled on time so you don’t run out of important medicines. I will also send reminders to your doctor if a prescription needs to be updated.
What is a Refill Specialist?
I am responsible for managing a team of construction workers, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled technical workers who build and maintain the facilities we use.
What is a Facilities Manager?
I help families work through problems together, and I might help you find a doctor, a counselor, or another social services program to help you overcome a challenge in your life.
What is a Social Worker?
I might design an exercise routine for a person who is recovering from knee surgery. I help people heal and get back to normal with the way they move.
What is a Physical Therapist?
I get to look inside things like your blood or skin cells to see if they are healthy and working normally. I get to use a bunch of cool equipment to do this.
What is a Laboratory Technician?
Before I work on my own as an independently-licensed Pharmacist, I will spend at least one more year working closely with another Pharmacist and learning the job from that person who already does it.
What is a Pharmacy Resident?
I create and maintain our financial records, help pay our business bills, and help managers make decisions about how to spend the company’s money.
What is an Accountant?
I am a registered nurse who works with patients. My patients usually have serious health conditions like high blood pressure or another illness that makes it risky for them to be at home without a nurse to help them.
What is a Care Mananger RN?
I help people if they have trouble forming or pronouncing words accurately. Sometimes I work with kids when they are first learning to speak out loud, and sometimes I works with older people.
What is a Speech Language Pathologist?
When someone loses their house or their apartment when they've been sick for a really long time and haven’t been able to work, I help them. It’s my job get them healthcare and to find them a safe place to live while getting healthy.
What is a Housing Navigator?
Along with my Pharmacist duties, I manage everyone in the pharmacy by providing leadership to help us run as a productive and caring team.
What is a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)?
I might travel to colleges and talk to students who are about to graduate and look for a job. It’s important for us to recruit the best doctors, nurses, dentists, and other professionals that we can find.
What is a HR Recruiter?
I call patients on the phone and talk about medical tests that might be helpful for them. By reaching out to patients to have some tests done before they actually get sick, we can help keep people healthier.
What is an Outreach MA?
I am the manager or “boss” of the whole doctor’s office building. It is my job to make sure that our practice is a clean, safe, and happy place to work.
What is a Practice Director?
I send a bill to the insurance company so that PCHC gets paid for the work we do. That money pays the people who work here, for our tools, office buildings, and supplies.
