It allows the Venus fly trap to get food and nutrients because it can trap the insect and break it down. It can only do this if it knows there is an insect to trap.
Bats and dolphins both use echolocation to gain information on their surroundings. Why is this important?
For food, saftey, etc.

They grow towards the sunlight.

The cell wall of a plant gives it structure and protects the inside of the cell from absorbing too much water and from anything harmful getting in. Why does this matter?
