Today we get foods from all over the world, often within a matter of a few days. Think about kiwis. Most of these tasty fruits grow in New Zealand, yet you can buy them at your local store. How do they get there? Ships, planes, trains, and trucks transport them. In the case of kiwis, they leave their country on a ship or plane. When they arrive in the U.S., te fruit gets unloaded and put onto a train. At the train station, a truck picks up the kiwis and drives them to your grocery store.
