How should a PNM feel after Zoom Round?
Welcomed, comfortable, important, feeling like she has to put Chi O on her list to get to know us even more!
This is executed well by repeating the PNMs name, asking open-ended questions, and sharing stories to show how much fun Chi Omega is!!
These are Chi Omega’s national and local philanthropy (mission and examples)
Make-A-Wish: is a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. Frats at Bat!!
Example: Wish granted at an OSU football game: we granted a Chi Omega sister's son's wish for a hot tub, and we let a child with cancer throw the first pitch at Frats at Bat!
Stillwater Humane Society: a nonprofit, adoption guaranteed animal shelter that serves homeless dogs and cats in the Stillwater community.
Example: A Chi O actually adopted one of the dogs at our Paws for a Cause event!
These are basic things every recruiter should have on Zoom
Good lighting, clean background, eye contact, smiling, no phones, and no distractions!

To show what Chi O values, share our passion for service, and learn what the PNM cares about.
Examples of good questions to ask during Zoom Rounds:
“What are you most excited about for OSU?” "Perfect dorm room snack drawer?" "What would your perfect weekend look like?" "What are you most looking forward to this semester?' "What are some fun things you did this summer?" "What is your hometown like?"
*Be prepared to answer these questions as well! Make sure to discuss with your bump groups which questions you plan to ask!
This is better than just listing facts about our philanthropies.
Sharing a specific memory, event, or personal reason philanthropy matters to you!
This is what you should do if there is an awkward pause or the PNM gives a short answer.
Ask a natural follow-up question, relate to something she said, or smoothly transition to a new topic.
"Wait, tell me more about that."
"That sounds so fun—what was your favorite part?"
"I have never tried that. What's it like?"

“Have you been involved in any service or causes you care about?” “What are you passionate about?" "Who do you look up to most?"
Explain the bump rotation and how your camera and mic should be when you are joining the party:
3's start in the lobby, wait for Rachel to say "bump", then go find their 1 in their designated breakout rooms. Once the 3 joins the 1, the one can wrap up her conversation with the PNM and then go find the breakout room where her 2 is. Once the 1 joins the 2's room, the 2 will go back to the lobby and wait for Rachel to say "bump!" again.
Camera and mic are off until you get placed in a breakout room- do not wait for the PNM to turn on her camera or mic; it'll most likely be on, so immediately turn on yours!
