In the poem "Still I Rise," Maya Angelou repeated the phrase "I'll rise." What is this literary device? And what how does it add to the central idea that no matter how many times you're knocked down, you should always get back up?
Repetition. Because it is repeated, it shows how resilient the speaker is and that she truly will rise every time she falls.
