Describe: Curing of the Blind

Jesus encountered a man who had been blind since birth and chose to heal him. He mixed his saliva with dirt to form mud, which he then applied directly to the man's eyes. Following Jesus's instructions, the man went to wash his face in the Pool of Siloam. Upon washing away the mud, the man's sight was miraculously restored, an event the New Testament uses to demonstrate both the man's faith and Jesus's divine authority.
