Are students allowed water or restroom breaks?
No. If your student asks to go to the bathroom tell to wait untill Ms. Sara walks around. If they really need to go they will remember to ask me. Most of the time bathroom breaks are a stall tactic or a sign the student is not understanding the lesson or having a difficult time with the lesson. UNLESS they are young and doing the "potty dance" in that case, walk them to the bathroom right away.

Put in Ziploc bag in zipped binder pouch. Reminder: Students should never take home gems. (Unearned gems go back in basket at the end of the night.)

What should you do after your student leaves?
Clean tutoring area and then wait in sanctuary for debrief or go home if your group is not staying for debrief. Tip: Cleaning task list is in your binder. Remember, some students are still working when you are cleaning.

Prizes at Homework Club. Students trade in HWC points and RH & MH gems for toys, candy, and school supplies every Wednesday. They have a chance to earn 30 points a week.

Step 1: Wait. Do not leave tutoring location until Ms. Sara announces "time to get bookbags and jackets". Step 2: Go with student to get their bookbag, walk them to the sanctuary and sit with them in line.
