Get a good night's sleep. Go to bed on time or even early.
Why do tests make us nervous?
Worrying we might get a bad score. The test is long. We think tests are a BIG deal. We feel a lot of pressure from parents and/or teachers to do well.

Why is it important to be on time for school during Testing?
So that you can begin the test with your class and you won't have to take it another day and miss fun things happening in your class. Your teacher may do a review and you want to be there for it.
What if you notice others are finishing their test but you are not close to being done?
Everyone else is scribbling away? Ack! What do they know that you don’t? It doesn’t matter. Pay attention to your own test and pace, and forget about the other students in the room.

Break the problem in steps, take the parts one at a time.

Take a few deep breaths to calm you down. Close your eyes. Picture yourself doing something that makes you happy.

Underline or highlight the important parts with the testing tools. Take notes on a piece of paper
What should you do if you come to a question that you really don't know the answer to?
Skip the questions and go answer the questions you know the answer to BUT make sure you GO BACK to the skipped questions so you don't get it wrong for not answering it.

They help to evaluate what you have learned this year
