What do you do when you enter the classroom?
Enter the room quietly and sit in your assigned seat. Read the Daily Agenda for the day’s lessons and activities.
How do you wear your ID properly?
You must wear your Johnson identification badges on a lanyard every day to school. It must be around your neck and not in your pocket.
How do you ask to get a tissue?
You give the hand signal which is holding up two fingers.
What is the process to use the bathroom?
Use the 5-Star program to sign out/sign in to use the restroom. Take a pass with you. Only one student is allowed out of class at a time. You may not use the restroom the first or last 10 minutes of class.
What do you do after reading the agenda?
You get your supplies, folder, and a book ready for Silent Reading.
Where do you put your backpack?
Backpacks will be kept on the back of the chair. If you need to access your backpack during class, you will need to raise your hand for permission.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How do students line up?
Students will remain in their seat until the bell rings. The teacher will give you a 2-3 minute reminder before the bell rings. That is when you can start packing up.
How much do you need to pay for a new ID?
You will be charged $5 for a replacement badge if you forget your badge after 5 instances.
