- Listen while others are talking.
- Treating others the way you want to be treated.
- Follow directions the first time.
What does lining up look like?
- Leave our chairs and walk quietly to line up at the door.
- Don't touch anyone in line or while getting to the line.
- Keep voice level at a minimum.
What do you do when it is time for recess?
- Wait to be dismissed.
-Change into outdoor items.
-Line up quietly at the door and wait to be led to the outside door.
-WALK QUIETLY down the hall.
-Exit out your doors.

-Ask a friend (once lesson is complete)

- Join the teacher at the horseshoe table for support.
What clean up should we all do at the end of the day?
- Desks tops clean

- Activity bins on shelves
What do you do if it is an indoor recess?
Play with materials on the shelf, read or draw QUIETY.
At assemblies you should...

What does being a safe student look like?
- Hands to themselves.
- Being kind to each other online and in person.
- All chair legs on the floor.
- Walking not running.
What do you do when you enter school in the morning?
Hang up your coat and back pack and put on your indoor shoes.
Read the "Ready, Do, Done" board for information on your Warm Up activity.
What do you do During a fire drill?
Silently get up, tuck in your chair. Line up at the front of the room.
Follow the adult outside and stand quietly in the line up.
What do you do if you need to go to the office, the library or another classroom?
- You must wear a Division 8 hall pass whenever going to another room in the school.
- The teacher and he/she will write you pink slip if you are going to the office.
If you have a problem on the playground during recess or lunch, what do you do?
Find a teacher or lunch time supervisor.
What do you do when you have something you want to say?
- Raising hands, then waiting to be called on
What should your desk look like at the end of the day?
-CLEAN!
-No papers on top.
-Pencils & crayons organized in your desk.
What do you do during an earthquake drill?
Immediately go under your desk or a table.
Kneel down with your head down and your hands covering the back of your head and neck.
Join the adult in counting to 60.
After the adult checks that everyone is ok. Line up silently and follow the adult out of the school to safety.
Stand silently.
What do I do at lunch?
- Sit at your own desk and eat your OWN lunch!
- Talk QUIETLY to the people beside you.
- Read, colour or draw if you finish eating before the bell to go outside.
