A scene that takes place indoors

A transition in which one scene "wipes away" for the next

What is a Character?
A series of shots, usually without dialogue, which quickly tells a section of the story
What is a Montage?
Indicates a shot that focuses in closely on a particular subject, character, or action
What is a CU? (Close-up)
A scene or sequence that happened in the past
What is a Flashback?
Refers to two scenes that are shown a few moments each, back and forth
What is Intercutting?
The text in all caps at the beginning of a scene that describes the location and time of day
What is a Slug Line?
This type of shot refers to when a camera focuses on a subject specifically
What is Angle on?
A shot in where the camera is placed a very long distance from the subject or action
What is an XLS? (Extreme Long Shot)
This term refers to something or someone coming into the picture while the camera stays put
What is Into Frame/View?
Used at the end of Star Wars scripts, this term refers to a wipe from the center of the frame out in all directions

Direction for the actor to deliver their lines in a particular way, such as calmly or softly
