When she approached the boy, she blushed and spoke softly.
She was shy.
She walked slowly, her head down, dragging her feet along the floor.
She was sad.
A gigantic grin spread across his face, and his eyes lit up like the sky on the Fourth of July.
He was happy.
His eyes were open wide and his teeth started chattering.
He was scared.
She jumped up and down with a huge grin on her face. The concert was just about to start!
She was excited.
An ache started deep in his stomach. He turned away as his eyes welled up with tears.
He was sad.
He rubbed his red eyes and leaned his head against the desk.
He was tired.
She couldn't help herself. Her jaw dropped to the floor as her eyebrows shot to the ceiling.
She was shocked.
He pursed his lips and clenched his fists into tight balls. Try as he might, he could not contain himself. Within seconds, he erupted like a volcano.
He was angry.
He folded his arms tightly and looked at his brother with glaring eyes.
He was angry.
When she saw her dad enter the gym, she sprinted across the room, jumped into his arms, and buried her head into his chest.
She was excited to see her dad.
Her eyes searched the clock for the 3rd time in a minute, and her hands quickly twirled her long brown hair in between the nibbling of her finger nails as she sighed loudly listening to the teacher describe the test.
She was nervous.
