They play an important role within the running of the Detachment and are usually there to assist the DC and Adult Instructors within a support capacity. This could be in a role as a driver, as an administrative assistant, as an expert in a particular element of the syllabus (i.e. first aid or navigation) or to assist in running the tuck shop.
