1) Only blue painter’s tape is allowed for anything on painted surfaces.
2) Sign-holders must be used for anything on windows/doors.

A student wants to get their Student ID. What do you do?
OLD: Show them where Student Government (SG) is. If no one is there, bring them to Student Life.
NEW: Refer to Student Life Office for verification, then you or Office Staff can produce ID.
Students are walking away with their personal property but have left some trash on the table. What do you do?
You catch up to them and remind them to clean up their trash per the Community Standards. If you are unable to catch-up, clean up BUT remind them next time.
You are the last person leaving at the end of the day. What must you check when you exit the lounge?
All doors should be locked and checked to prevent any ajars by pulling/pushing on handles.
If Fridays the Lounge is closed, why are we signing up for shifts?
Fridays will be a designated work day for two lounge staff (max) and will be on a rotation basis per week, depending on how many sign up.
A couple is heavily making-out and is being obvious with their PDA. What should you do?
Approach couple and:
1) Ask them to refrain from excessive PDA.
2) Remind them of Student Conduct Code & Community Standards.
3) Give them the choice to leave if they want to continue.
Someone told a student they can go to the lounge to buy movie tickets. How do your respond?
Student Life sells discount movie tickets.
Casters (table wheels) break easily. You find a broken lock. What is done next? How do you prevent this?
1) Record the broken furniture ID on the communication log.
2) Check casters are tucked, locked, and secured.
You find an unattended cell phone. What do you do with it?
1) Describe in detail on Lost & Found log.
2) Bring to Student Life and note on log.
What happens if I can't work my scheduled shift?
1) Notify Jeff ASAP, and find coverage from a fellow co-worker.
2) Use GroupMe to communicate you are out and if any one can cover your missed shift.
3) Make up and/or trade shifts for your missed hours to remain eligible for lounge employment.
A female sits in a male’s lap on a single chair? Now what?
Approach couple to:
1) Inform them the furniture was not meant to seat multiple people and may break.
2) Warn about Community Standards doesn't allow improper use of furniture.
A student is playing with a mini drone and it flies up into the rotunda. They want to retrieve it. What do you do/say?
1) Stop them, and remind them no flying objects as described in Community Standards.
2) No access to the rotunda; drone is lost.

1) May in Student Life Office will have paychecks after 2pm on 5th & 20th unless holiday or weekend then paid previous business day.
2) Direct Deposit is deposited after midnight on pay day.
A couple begins to verbally argue and it looks heated. You then observe the male slap the female in the face. What is your immediate response?
