Because PBIS is all about recognizing positives in our students, not about highlighting the negatives

Mr. Patterson. The less obvious the source of of the student's trigger is, the more you should lean DSEL.

By giving it to the student directly (out loud), as soon as possible, and in a consistent manner.

What is the purpose of utilizing a Restorative Circle?
To help the student(s) hear and empathize with each others feelings, thoughts, and perspectives in order to resolve conflict in a way that helps both parties learn, grow, and heal from the situation
How long do you need to practice and drill your class in all the behavior expectations?
Until they can demonstrate all expectations without prompts, redirections, or re-dos.
