What is the difference between a certificate and a diploma?
A certificate takes a few weeks or months to complete for quick skill learning on a specific skill or topic, while a diploma takes one to two years for a broader and deeper study of a subject.
When you apply for financial aid, you may be offered grants and loans.

The biggest difference between a grant and a loan is that a grant does not need to be paid back, while a loan must be repaid with interest.

What is a scholarship?

This is separate educational funding (not from the state or federal government). There are many different scholarships. A student must meet the scholarship criteria and is based on academic, achievements, or other criteria. It is usually not income based and does not need to be repaid.

What is paraphrasing, and why is it a good tool to help you understand and remember information?
Paraphrasing means expressing someone else's written or spoken ideas in your own words while keeping the original meaning intact.
Paraphrasing helps you understand and remember information by forcing your brain to actively process, dissect, and reassemble the material in your own words.
