NO. A link, alone, is not an acceptable citation format.  All required citation information must be included with the link for it to be acknowledged in grading tabulation.

A CMU-certified medical documented absence.  A CMU-certified sports absence.

Where can I find the four films we are going to watch for this course?

Film links are available in Course Announcements, available in the Tomlinson library, available at the Mesa County Library, and may also be watched in class.

Does D2L portray an accurate representation of my exact grade at any time in the semester?

No.  D2L is often highly inaccurate if you are missing any assignment submissions or if an assignment has not been graded.

I can watch a video of a concert this semester to complete the requirements of the Concert Review essay due at the end of the semester.

Can I use my textbook as a resource while taking my online quizzes?

Yes, the professor encourages "open-book" quizzes-- open the online textbook in one tab, and the online quiz in another tab and "toggle" back and forth between the two tabs while taking the quizzes.

What is the best way to communication with my professor?

Dr. Rusthoi prefers email, however text also works. In-person, before or after class also works, however, Dr. Rusthoi will then ask you to email her about the discussion.

If I've gotten behind in class, what should I do?

Communicate with the Professor, start working on the current week's assignments, catch up on prior assignments as soon as I can.

In order to successfully pass this course, I can just do the assignments in D2L and skip the chapter quizzes on the Norton textbook site.

No.  In order to earn enough points to pass this course, you must do the 62 chapter quizzes linked in your course D2L shell to the Norton textbook.

I waited too long, and now I can't find any live concerts to attend to use for my final essay.  Is it my professor's responsibility to find me a concert?

No. You can refer to your syllabus for last-minute ideas to find a concert that will be acceptable for your essay.

How many hours should I expect to spend per week on homework in this course?

The state requires a 3 credit undergraduate course like Music Appreciation to assign 2 hours PER CREDIT (6 hours total) per student of classwork each week. Thus, outside of class time, each student should expect ~3.5 to 4 hours of homework each week.
