How did Malaria become drug resistant? Correctly use the terms mutation, adaptation, and natural selection

Originally most of the malaria parasites were not resistant to drugs. When the drug was introduced it killed off most of the parasites. However, a few parasites had mutations which allowed them to survive the drug. This mutation was helpful, so it worked as an adaptation. Over time all of the non-resistant parasites died off, but the resistant ones survived and reproduced. This is an example of natural selection
