Double check you have selected the projector source to be the right floor box.
Sound is only coming out of one speaker. What two reasons could this be?
Either theres no power to the speaker (off or no power cable), or the xlr isnt plugged in from the stage box.
Spotlight is reflecting off Josh Dickinsons head, today he isnt preaching. What are the two setting that should be applied to the spotlight to minimise this?
First is set the brightness to 25%. Second is to focus the light by twisting the lens.
You're trying to mix the band, but nothing seems to be changing. Why?
You are currently mixing a foldback
Where can you check to see is the projectors are receiving signal from the laptop?
In the floor box the HDMI port should have a solid blue light. This means its receiving a signal.
An instrument isnt giving any signal. What trick can you use to determine where the breakage is happening (XLR, AUX, DI)?
You can leave the channel unmuted and start unplugging cables to find the pop signaling a connection.
Camera isnt focusing after adjusting the lens, what can we do?
Press the photo button all the way down until the image focuses.
Power is lost to the recievers for the headsets and handhelds. What do you check?
Check that both power boards at the bottom of the desk have power. Losing the receivers is likely a result of them losing power.
What steps would you take if OBS is showing no sound input?
First check the cables are in securely and correctly. Then check the audio source is set to black magic.
You’ve mic’ed up Glenda or Stephan yet are receiving no signal. What’s most likely wrong?
You haven't turned on the phantom power
The headset is having trouble picking up sound. The gain is having to be increased to dangerous levels? How do we prevent this?
When supplying the headsets ensure that they fit the user properly. When they make a big smile, the mic should sit comfortably at the corner of the mouth.
The MC or preacher is cutting out. What could be an explanation for this?
There could be a gate applied to their mic.
You download the sermon from elvanto and its corrupt. What do you do?
The band is ready to practice, but vox three isnt working. The mic has new batteries and is on. Why is there no signal.
Receiver in the stage box isn't turned on.
A preacher (Garnet) has walked on stage without turning on his pack. How can you fix this?
Mimic turning a pack on frantically, while simultaneously being blamed for the issue.
Preacher headset begins dropping out mid sermon. Why is this occurring and what could be done to fix this?
This is occurring bc the wireless signal is being interfered with by other wireless systems. (i.e. wifi and handhelds). This could be fixed by moving the receivers into the stage box
The screens are flickering and having problems displaying consistently. How could this be resolved?
By going into Advanced Display settings and lowering the refresh rate.
The keyboard is providing a really weak signal. You’ve turned up its volume, changed the auz lead, the xlr. You know the DI used is good, it worked last week. What else could be the issue.
You've possibly applied Padding on the DI box.
The sermon recording was taken from camera not the desk, what can we do here?
