Meaning? Vande dukha-haram sadā sukha-karam, Shri Swāminārāyanam.
What is Bow to [Bhagwan] Shri Swaminarayan, who forever destroys all misery and provides [only] bliss.
Sākshād Aksharadhāma divya paramam, sevāratam murtimān
He is the manifest form of the highest [abode], Akshardham. He is [also eternally] in the service [of Bhagwan] with a [divine] form.
Shuddhopāsana mandiram surachanam, siddhānta-rakshāparam,
He built mandirs [based on] the pure worship and understanding of [Akshar-Purushottam]. He protected the theological principles [of Akshar-Purushottam].
Vishve vaidika dharma marma mahimā, satsanga vistārakam,
He spread the glory and message of Vaidik [Sanatan] Dharma (i.e., Hinduism) and Satsang throughout the world.
Divyam saumya-mukhāravinda saralam, netre ami-varshanam,
He has a divine and serene visage. He is agreeable. His eyes shower grace [upon others.]
Meaning? Sākāram Parabrahma sarva-sharanam, kartā dayā-sāgaram.
He [eternally] has a [divine] form; He transcends Aksharbrahma. He is suitable to provide refuge to all. He is omnipotent (i.e., the sole doer) and an ocean of compassion.
Sarvādhāra sadā svaroma-vivare, brahmānda-koti-dharam.
[By the strength of God,] he is eternally the supporter of all. In the space present in each pore of his body, he holds infinite cosmoses.
Sansthā-sthāpana divya-kārya-karanam, sevā-mayam jivanam.
He performed the divine work of establishing the [BAPS Swaminarayan] Sanstha. His life was filled with spiritual service.
Vātsalyam karunā aho jana-jane, ākarshanam adbhutam.
With a loving and compassionate [personality], countless are greatly attracted to him.
Nirdosham mahimā-mayam suhrudayam, shāntam samam nishchalam.
He is flawless. He harbors glory for all. He is friendly. He is peaceful. He [treats all] with equality. He is unaffected [by the world.]
Antaryāmi parātparam hita-karam, sarvopari Shri-Hari
Shri Hari is omniscient; He transcends everything [including Aksharbrahma, who transcends all else]; He [only] does good for all; He is supreme.
Bhakti dhyāna kathā sadaiva karanam, brahma-sthiti-dāyakam,
He constantly performs devotion, meditation and spiritual discourses. He grants brahmisthiti (i.e., the state of having qualities similar to Aksharbrahma).
Nishthā nirbhayatā sukashta-sahanam, dhairyam kshamā-dhāranam,
He is faithful; he is fearless; he tolerates hardships; he is patient; he possesses forgiveness.
Dāsatvam guru-bhakti nitya bhajanam, samvāditā sādhutā,
He acts with servitude. He is a [perfect image] of devotion to his gurus (i.e., Shastriji Maharaj and Yogiji Maharaj). He constantly worships God. He upholds harmony and saintliness.
Nirmānam mrudu divyabhāva satatam, vāni shubhā nirmalā,
He is humble. He is gentle. He always harbors a divine perception [of others]. He has a pure and auspicious speech.
Meaning: Ārādhyam mama ishtadeva prakatam, sarvāvatāri Prabhu
He is worthy of being worshipped [by all]; He is my chosen deity (i.e., the only one I offer devotion to); He is [forever] manifest on Earth; He is the cause of all of the avatars; He is all-powerful.
Vande Aksharabrahma pāda-kamalam, Gunātitānandanam.
Bow to the lotus-like feet of Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand [Swami].
Shāstri Yagnapurushadāsa-charanam, vande pratāpi gurum.
Bow to the feet of Shastriji [Maharaj] [Swamishri] Yagnapurushdasji, the powerful [Aksharbrahma] Guru.
Nārāyanaswarupa Swāmi Pramukham, vande gurum muktidam.
Bow to Pramukh Swami [Maharaj] [Swamishri] Narayanswarupdasji, the [Aksharbrahma] Guru who grants liberation.
Vande Keshavajivanam mama gurum, Swāmi Mahantam sadā.
Forever bow to my [Aksharbrahma] Guru Mahant Swami [Maharaj] [Swamishri] Keshavjivandasji.
