Explain the wind pattern- jet streams.

A jet stream is a band of fast-moving wind that is high up in the atmosphere. Jet streams form at the boundaries between hot and cold air masses and tend to be westerly, which means they blow from the west to the east.

What is a warm front?

Fronts that bring warm air are referred to as warm fronts. As this warm air approaches, it is lifted upward above the cooler air. As the air in the warm air mass rises it expands, causing it to cool down. As it cools, water vapor can condense, creating precipitation.
