Let Emily know immediately, even if nothing crazy is happening. This relationship has crossed healthy boundaries, because of the frequency and privacy of communication.

Let the student know you're really sorry that's happening, but you need to get me involved. Tell Emily ASAP, this is an unsafe environment. Keeping secrets for them isn't helpful :)
