WHO - Paul, sailors, and the shipwreck

WHAT - Paul was sailing from Caesarea to Rome. Strong winds tossed the ship and the ship was blown off course. God sent an angel to Paul, and Paul told the sailors what the angel had said: “Take courage”. Through God’s strength, Paul helped all of the sailors safely reach shore.

God saved him! An angel had prophesied that everyone on the ship would be saved. After the ship broke apart on a sandbar, people swam to shore!

WHO - Paul, Felix, Festus, King Agrippa and Queen Bernice

WHAT - Paul was brought to Caesarea as a prisoner. Paul met with Felix, the governor. Paul spoke to Felix about God, and Felix was afraid. Festus, the new governor, wanted to send Paul to Rome. King Agrippa and Queen Bernice visited Festus and Paul. When Paul told them the Gospel, they agreed that Paul had done nothing wrong and should be set free. But since Paul had already agreed to go to Rome, he needed to go.
