What is the primary objective of casualty reporting?
To ensure timely and accurate notification of servicemembers status to higher headquarters and subsequently the next of kin. This information not only ensures members safety and timely assistance to them and their family but also an accurate depiction of current mission capabilities to leadership.

What is the primary role of the IPR office during deployment operations?
To manage and track deployments taskings, accountability, and readiness for assigned personnel working closely with the UDMs and IDO.
You're currently building a shelter outside when an CBRN Alarm notification goes out MOPP level increases. Describe immediate actions.
Immediately stop what you're doing, don the required protective gear, seek immediate shelter or take cover based on limitations, ensure all members in vicinity are accounted for and in appropriate gear. Await further instructions from EOC,CAT, UCCs. Report any contamination or casualties with whatever means available when safely able. Stay informed via Giant Voice, AtHoc, LMRs etc.

Provides real-time personnel accountability and visibility to MAJCOMS and Combatant Commanders. Depending on phase and location, PERSCO Teams and Installation Personnel Readiness (IPR).
PAR Operations - Explain how teams should mark contaminated area/items and what is used to relay critical information.
Teams use standard CBRN contamination placards or tape placed upwind of hazard. Markers must include C=Chemical B=Biological R=Radiological As well as Date and time of detection, method of detection and PAR team that identified the hazard.
During a base attack the Search & Recovery Team recovers remains and reports findings to the UCC.
As PERSCO rep, what is your role in coordinating casualty reporting from point forward?
Receive confirmed casualty details from SAR Team, Verify identity and work with medical staff for confirmed medical status of casualty. Complete AF Form 1300 in DCIPS. Update accountability records and maintain communication with Mortuary Affairs, SAR and UCC.
