The city is secure and protected from outside dangers. It was protected when Abraha and his men went to destroy the Ka’bah and the Quraysh left, Allah protected the Ka’bah and sent birds to drop stones.
What does allah say about the man who becomes Ungrateful
it is also stating that when man becomes Ungrateful to the countless blessings that Allah(SWT) has bestowed upon him,then he is lower than all other creatures.
in the ayah فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ the pondering question is what yet causes you to deny the Recompense ?, how does this tie into the disbelievers?
its asking the disbelievers how could you reject the truth, even after a clear explanation and countless of merciful blessings

Allah questions the disbelievers and asks them don't you believe the one who has given you all of these qualities and created you is best fitted to judge you.

In Surah Tin, Allah says he created humans in their best form. In surah Alaq, Allah gives us a guide in order to be in our best form.
