New England Colonies
This group of young colonists (boys or girls) went to school for a short amount of time.
These young men, as young as 11 years old, learned how to do a trade from an expert.
This is the nickname of these colonies because they grew lots of grains.
Examples:
cooper = barrel maker, miller = grain grinder, glassblower = create glassware, printer = print newspapers, cobbler = make shoes, blacksmith = make things out of iron, silversmith = make things out of silver
