Define a cold front.
A cold front is when a cold air mass pushes a warm air mass up, creating cumulus clouds (specifically cumulonimbus clouds) which bring lousy/stormy weather such as, heavy rain and thunderstorms.

A warm front is when a fast-moving warm air mass pushes a cold air mass, and as it does, it moves on top of the cold air mass. When a warm air mass slides over a cold air mass, it creates light precipitation such as, light showers and forms stratus clouds.
