In year 7, after the athletics carnival and due to the disparity and displacement of the results in the 100m and other sprinting events, I and 3 other grade 7 Marra students indirectly forced the school to change and implement this rule into future athletic carnivals for fairness.
Division 1 100m (and other events) to no longer select the 2 fastest from each house but the fastest overall students from the entire grade to compete. Ultimately the rule became simply, whoever ran the fastest times regardless of division were placed in that order from first to last.
