Guide us on the straight path
ihdina'ș-șirāțal mustaqima
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the world
al-hamdu li'llāhi rabbi'l-'ālamīn
There is no god except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,
lā ilāha illa'llāh" muhammadu'r- rasūlu'llāhi
anta's-salām" wa-minka's-salām"
You are peace, from You is peace,
O you who believe! Obey Allah
yā ayyuha'l-ladhīna āmanū ațī'u'llāha
Lord of the Day of Judgment.
māliki yawmi'd-din
iyyāka na'budu wa-iyyāka nasta'īn
It is You Whom we worship and it is You
from Whom we seek support
salam means
peace
hayyinā rabbanā bi's-salāmi
Our Lord, grant us life in peace,
wa-ilayka yarji'u's-salām
and to You peace returns.
sajda wajhi ilayka wa-tawakkaltu 'alayka
I prostrate before you and I rely upon you
the path of those whom You have graced,
șirāța'l-ladhīna an'amta'alayhim
ati means
obey
minka madadī wa-'alayka mu'tamadī
from You is my help, and I rely upon You
wa-kulla shay'in ahsaynāhu fī imāmi'm-mubīn
We have encom- passed everything in a manifest Imam.
ghayri'l-maghdūbi alayhim wa-la'd-dāllīn
not those who have earned [Your] anger, nor those who have strayed.
From You is my strength and You are my protection,
minka quwwatī wa-anta 'ismatī
wa'l-'așr' imāmina'lhādiri'l-mawjūdi
and the age, our present, living Imam,
'aliyyun amīru'l- mu'minina (aliyyu'llāh
'Ali, the Commander of the faithful, is from Allah.
yā dha'l-jalāli wa'l-ikrām
O Lord of Majesty and Nobility.
O Allah! Bless Muhammad, the chosen, and Ali, the favored,
allāhumma șalli alā muhammadini'l- mustafā
wa-'alā'aliyyini'l-murtadā
wa-'ala'l- a'immati'l-ațhāri wa-'alā hujjati'l- amri șāhibi'z-zamāni
and the Imams, the pure, and the proof of [divinely granted] authority, the Lord of the time

You are Exalted, our Lord, and You are Sublime,
