One verse later L&L were murmuring in disbelief that they could get the plates. "Laban can slay 50, then why not us?" 4:1-38 - Trusting in the Lord and being led by the Spirit. Nephi motivates using "Be strong like Moses". Everyone hid, Nephi went in being "led by the Spirit not knowing beforehand the things which I should do". Sees Laban drunk is commanded to slay him. Better that he die than nations dwindle and perish in unbelief. Nephi dresses in Labans clothes and armor and gets the Brass Plates and Zoram comes with.
