Cats are very intelligent animals. Our family adopted one from the animal shelter, The animal shelter gave us a book called Think Like a Cat. We live in a city and its the first city our cat has ever known.Our cats name is Fefe. She loves adventures and shopping with me and my friend. She loves swimming, camping and hiking. Weird huh? Until last week we went to visit my grandfather who lives on a farmland in the country. When we got there Fefe seemed scared. Her eyes were wide, and hair stood tall. She did not want to get out of the car. I picked Fefe up and she held on to me so tight. Once inside of my grandmothers house, Fefe kept looking out the window. She kept yawning and yawning. Everyone was enjoying themselves excep for fef. She looked sad and would not go anywhere else other than the window.
Finally it was time to go home. We walked outside , went through the field, passed all the animals and crops. Fefe still held on to me very tightly. She wouldn't budge.
Then I remember what the cat book said. " Cats try to make sense of the world. If your cat does something strange, put yourself inside your cat's head. Think like a cat."
So I put myself in Fefe's head and I understood why she was sad about being at grandmas. Everything was different from home and she had never experienced something like this.
