Notification of a Title II Overpayment
What is GN 02201.009?
Tells the system this is PAR REC for T16.
What is PRI 1?
When the beneficiaries do not have the same address or same payee when the overpayment is discovered, assume they were in different households at the time of the overpayment unless you have evidence to the contrary.
What is a Multiple Family Unit (MFU)?
Informs the beneficiary that their o/p was recovered by another person's underpayment on the same record.

The screen used to transfer an overpayment to another liable beneficiary.

What is DR?
A beneficiary may request that an overpayment be recovered by withholding less than the full monthly benefit. This amount should never be less than $10, and generally must allow recovery of the overpayment within 36 months.
