What is Mater Education Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)?
When can you access your assignment (and other assessments) to start working on them?
As soon as you have access to a unit on VLE, you can access the assignment within that unit, however, you should not complete any assessment prior to developing necessary knowledge and skills.

What are unit text books and lecture notes?
These are assessments that take place on campus, in a lab and are assessed by your Semester Educators and Clinical Facilitators.
What is Clinical Skills Assessment (CSA)?
These occur in week blocks. Generally, skills practice takes place in the morning and are assessed in the afternoon/later in the week.

Things you can do to prepare for an open book exam are:
-Make sure you are familiar with lecture notes
- Make visual organisers/ flashcards of key concepts, definitions and systems
-Make notes in your textbook
- Make tabs to help navigate your textbook
These take place at the end of each Semester, are conducted in various facilities, and will be assessed by a visiting facilitator and an on-site supervisor.
What is Work Experience Placement (WEP)?
You will undertake 3 different WEPs at the end of each Semester. You must be up to date with theoretical and CSAs to go on placement. Time management is crucial!

You are given two attempts to competently demonstrate practical skillsets. If marked as NYS for your first attempt, you will be given feedback on how to successfully complete.
