The front of the school, with a late bus pass from the teacher you stayed after with, at 3:55!

Grab something from the share table or stop by the main office :)
What is individual planning?
This is when each student meets with their school counselor to discuss how the year is going.
What is a good way to include other students?
Invite them to play at recess, sit with you at lunch, or partner with them in class.
Where should I go if I need to call home?
Your classroom phone (don’t forget to dial 9 first!) or for a more privacy, you can come to the counseling office
What should I do if I am absent from school?
Go to your teachers and ask what you need to make up.
Don’t forget to bring in a note explaining your absence when you return to school!
How do I see my school counselor?
Fill out a form on google classroom :).
If it's an emergency, ask your teacher for help in finding me.

The media center between 7:55-8:10!
What should I do if I am concerned about my grades?
Check Powerschool to see where you can improve.
Talk to your teacher(s) and/or school counselor.
They can help you set a goal to get your grades back on track.
What is confidentiality?
Being able to keep the conversation and information between us unless there is a concern about your safety or safety of others.

How can I meet new people at school?
Join a club!
List of clubs will be available on the MK.NPSCT.ORG website and announcements of new clubs will be made on WKMS morning announcements.
Where should I go if I am not with my class during a fire drill?
Exit the building and if practical go to your assigned teacher or the first adult you see.
What should I do if someone is hurting me or someone I know?
Tell a trusted adult or your school counselor.
Can you explain the paw system?
Students can earn paws by demonstrating the 4 pillars! Paws can be turns in at the paw shop for various prizes.
